but outside, I look so strong

I hold in the pain I feel

Paint a smile on my face

Hide away the way I feel

Till I'm locked out of sight

You said you loved me,

then why did you hurt me?

You said you needed me,

then why did you leave me?

I cried myself to sleep

because you're not around

I think back to a time

that makes me smile
